Powering a multi-stage outdoor event
A large outdoor event runs several stages, lighting towers and vendor stalls from temporary generators, often in rain and dust. Power has to be safe, weatherproof and quick to set up and strike.
The approach
A typical setup uses 400A single-pole connectors for the main generator feed, then road-ready flight-cased distribution boxes breaking down to 63A and 32A outlets. Mennekes IP67 plugs and interlocked sockets at each stage mean no connection is made or broken live. Each box carries MCB/RCD protection and clear labelling, so crews set up fast without guesswork.
Why it matters
Faster load-in, safer handling by non-electrical crew, and equipment that lasts a full touring season.
